 Rotel Pasta Fiesta 

Many home cooks in the United States love this dish. It brings bold southwestern flavors without the fuss. Imagine a mix of creamy cheese, zesty tomatoes, and seasoned protein in one skillet.

Equipment

  • Large skillet with lid
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • Cheese grater
  • Colander

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can 10 oz Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta shells
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Drain excess fat
  • Add Rotel tomatoes, taco seasoning, and water
  • Stir in uncooked pasta shells
  • Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes
  • Sprinkle generously with cheddar cheese
  • Let stand for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts
