Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking dish.
- Combine cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup butter to form a dough. Press into the bottom of the dish.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add eggs, vanilla, powdered sugar, and butter. Mix well.
- Pour topping over crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Cool completely before cutting.
