- Season chuck roast generously with salt and pepper
- Brown meat in olive oil until golden on all sides
- Transfer meat to slow cooker
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over roast
- Cook on low for 8 hours until meat is tender
- Shred beef using two forks
- Toast biscuits and spread with butter
- Layer shredded beef on biscuits
- Strain cooking liquid for dipping sauce
