Method
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter.
- Fold in crushed cornflakes until evenly coated.
- Pour mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly.
- Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top.
- Refrigerate until set, then cut into bars.
