Prep the Steak
Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
Toss the steak with cornstarch to help create a crispy crust.
Sear the Steak
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Make the Teriyaki Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
Add garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Coat the Steak
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Cook for 1–2 more minutes until everything is well combined.
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
Serve hot with rice, noodles, or veggies.
