Picture tender, juicy meat with a rich garlic butter flavor, making your kitchen smell amazing. These steak bites are perfect for any meal, whether it's a weeknight dinner or a dinner party.

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef steak sirloin, rib-eye, or tenderloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic about 20 g, minced
  • 5 g fresh thyme or rosemary optional, chopped
  • 3 g salt
  • 2 g black pepper
  • 2 g paprika optional, for added flavor
  • 10 g fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large skillet or cast-iron pan
  • Tongs or a spatula
  • Cutting board and sharp knife
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small bowl for mixing butter

Method

  1. Prepare the Steak – Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Sear the Steak – Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and swirl to coat the pan. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce – In the same pan, reduce the heat to low and add butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Toss the Steak in the Sauce – Return the steak bites to the pan and toss them in the garlic butter, letting them soak up all the flavor.
