Steak Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 16 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large non-stick skillet
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden cooking spoon
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper
  2. Sear steak in hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side
  3. Remove steak, let rest while preparing one-pot pasta
  4. In same skillet, create creamy Alfredo sauce
  5. Cook pasta directly in sauce until al dente
  6. Slice steak, place on top of pasta
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan
