  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Halloween-themed cookie cutters (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup orange and black sprinkles
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mix thoroughly
  • Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture
  • Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared sheets
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
  • Cool on rack for 5 minutes
