- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes to the saucepan. Crush them with a wooden spoon and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti in boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain pasta and add it to the tomato sauce. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
