Spaghetti Napoli

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 28 oz can of San Marzano tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour in the tomatoes, crushing them with your hands as you add them.
  • Simmer the sauce for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  • Toss the spaghetti with the sauce, adding pasta water if needed.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
