Slow Cooker Steak Bites Recipe

Picture coming home to the smell of garlic butter steak pieces cooking slowly. These Easy Steak Appetizers are more than a meal. They're a comfort food that brings families together. They're great for a quick dinner or a casual get-together, offering lots of flavor with little effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs 900g sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce for extra depth
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or 1 tsp fresh
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Slow cooker (crockpot)
  • Large skillet (for searing, optional)
  • Cutting board & knife
  • Measuring cups & spoons
  • Tongs or wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Sear the Steak (Optional for Extra Flavor):
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites and quickly sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  5. Prepare the Sauce:
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and all seasonings.
  7. Slow Cook:
  8. Pour the sauce over the steak bites in the slow cooker.
  9. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours until tender.
  10. Finish & Serve:
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
