slow cooker buffalo chicken chili

Slow cooker recipes are all about taste with little work. Imagine coming home to a kitchen filled with the smell of tender chicken in spicy sauce. This chili makes cooking on weeknights a breeze, and everyone will want more.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained
  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 diced bell peppers
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning

Equipment

  • 6-quart slow cooker
  • Cutting board
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method
 

  1. Place diced chicken in the slow cooker
  2. Add beans, onions, and peppers
  3. Pour buffalo sauce and chicken broth
  4. Sprinkle taco seasoning
  5. Stir ingredients until well combined
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours
  7. Shred chicken before serving
