Method
- Season beef with salt and pepper.
- Brown meat in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Transfer beef to slow cooker.
- Add onions, garlic, soup, broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water and stir into the slow cooker beef tips during the last 30 minutes to thicken the gravy.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
