Pesto Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 1/2 cup homemade or store-bought pesto
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

  • Parchment paper
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C)
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels
  4. Brush salmon with olive oil
  5. Spread pesto evenly over each fillet
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily
  7. Garnish with fresh basil
