one-pot turkey stroganoff

No need for complicated cooking or lots of dishes. This recipe makes a delicious meal in one pot. It's great for using up leftover turkey or for a quick, healthy meal.

Equipment

  • Large skillet or Dutch oven
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  • Add onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat
  • Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Reduce heat and stir in sour cream
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over egg noodles
