Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 pound pasta penne or rigatoni
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Brown the beef in the pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Pour in tomatoes, broth, and pasta. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in cream and cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
