Mongolian chicken recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs sliced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Sauce ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Equipment

  • Large wok or non-stick skillet
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowls
  • Wooden spoon or silicon spatula

Method
 

  1. Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch
  2. Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat
  3. Stir-fry chicken until golden brown
  4. Add minced garlic, cook for 30 seconds
  5. Pour sauce mixture, simmer for 2-3 minutes
  6. Garnish with green onions
