 Mexican stuffed peppers 

Large baking dish Sharp kitchen knife Cutting board Mixing bowl Measuring cups and spoons Skillet or sauté pan

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large bell peppers mix of red, green, and yellow
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can black beans drained
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning

Equipment

  • Large baking dish
  • Sharp kitchen knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Skillet or sauté pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Cut peppers in half, remove seeds
  3. Brown meat in skillet, drain excess fat
  4. Mix meat with rice, beans, and seasoning
  5. Stuff pepper halves with mixture
  6. Top with cheese
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes
