Mediterranean chicken and orzo recipe i

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup garlic bread crumbs
  • Fresh herbs parsley, basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large skillet or Dutch oven
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper
  2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat
  3. Cook chicken until golden brown (about 6-7 minutes per side)
  4. Remove chicken, set aside
  5. In same skillet, toast garlic bread crumbs until golden
  6. Add orzo and cook until lightly toasted
  7. Return chicken to pan, complete cooking
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs
