lemon shrimp pasta recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 2 fresh lemons
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large pasta pot
  • Colander for draining
  • Large skillet
  • Sharp chef's knife

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente
  2. Sauté garlic in olive oil for 1 minute
  3. Add shrimp, cook until pink (2-3 minutes)
  4. Drain pasta, combine with shrimp
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over dish
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley
