Lemon Garlic Pasta Recipe

Picture this: al dente pasta smothered in a zesty sauce. It's made with fresh garlic and lemon, making it a hit with families. It's easy to make and tastes like it came from a fancy restaurant.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 fresh garlic cloves minced
  • 2 lemons zest and juice
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large pasta pot
  • Colander
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente
  2. While pasta cooks, prepare lemon garlic sauce
  3. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add lemon zest and juice to the skillet
  5. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water
  6. Toss pasta with sauce, adding pasta water if needed
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
