Italian sausage penne casserole
Great for busy nights, this casserole has Italian sausage, penne pasta, and strong seasonings. It's a favorite in many American homes.
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- Fresh basil leaves
Preheat oven to 375°F
Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions
Drain pasta and mix with marinara sauce
Transfer to baking dish
Sprinkle cheese evenly across top
Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese melts
