Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix sugar, corn syrup, salt, and water in a saucepan. Heat to 250°F (121°C).
- Add peanuts and stir continuously until mixture reaches 300°F (149°C).
- Remove from heat. Quickly stir in butter and baking soda.
- Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Spread thin.
- Cool completely, then break into pieces.
