- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Prepare cake mix as directed on box
- Bake in 9x13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes
- Let cake cool for 5 minutes
- Poke holes all over cake with handle of wooden spoon
- Pour condensed milk and caramel sauce over cake
- Sprinkle coconut and pecans on top
- Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Spread whipped topping before serving
