Heat olive oil in the pot. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
Add pasta, crushed tomatoes, broth, and dried basil. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once pasta is tender, stir in cream and Parmesan cheese.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
