Sweet and salty desserts are all the rage now. Picture a chocolate tart with sea salt or a cheesecake with rosemary. These new flavors are changing what we think of desserts.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl
  • Incorporate butter until crumbly
  • Add egg and honey, knead into smooth dough
  • Shape into small rounds
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden
