creamy spinach pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Large cooking pot
  • Colander
  • Chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Large skillet

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente
  2. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water
  3. Sauté garlic in olive oil
  4. Add cream and pasta water
  5. Toss in spinach and cooked pasta
  6. Season with salt and pepper
  7. Garnish with Parmesan
