Creamy Pickle Roll-Ups

To make this appetizer, you need some basic skills and attention to detail. It's easy for anyone to learn, no matter their cooking level.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or 2 tbsp homemade ranch seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped, optional
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 jar dill pickles about 8-10 large pickles
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions optional

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Paper towels (optional)
  • Plate for serving

Method

  1. Prepare the Filling:
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with ranch seasoning mix.
  3. Add in fresh dill and sliced green onions, if using. Mix until everything is fully combined.
  4. Prepare the Pickles:
  5. Pat the pickles dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  6. Slice the pickles lengthwise into thin strips, about 3-4 slices per pickle (depending on the size).
  7. Assemble the Roll-Ups:
  8. Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  9. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface of the tortilla.
  10. Place a few pickle slices along the center of the tortilla.
  11. Roll and Slice:
  12. Roll the tortilla up tightly, enclosing the pickles inside.
  13. Slice into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch slices) and place on a serving plate.
