Sauté the Chicken – Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the Aromatics – In the same pan, add a little butter and sauté the diced onion until soft. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Create the Sauce – Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Add the heavy cream and stir well.
Cook the Gnocchi – Add the uncooked gnocchi directly into the sauce. Let it simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gnocchi is tender.
