- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Peel and cube butternut squash
- Mix squash, cream, cheese, sage, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl
- Transfer mixture to baking dish
- Combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over top
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until squash is tender and top is golden
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving
