Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 3-ounce packages fruit-flavored gelatin
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup additional sugar for coating

Equipment

  • Medium heavy-bottomed saucepan
  • Candy thermometer
  • Silicone candy molds or 8x8 inch baking pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Sharp knife
  • Granulated sugar for coating

Method
 

  1. Prepare your work surface by lining a pan with parchment paper
  2. Combine all gelatin with water in saucepan
  3. Heat mixture slowly, stirring constantly until dissolved
  4. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 20-25 minutes
  5. Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate for 3-4 hours
  6. Cut into small cubes and roll in granulated sugar
