Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared sheets.
  8. Top each cookie with a small dollop of peanut butter.
  9. Swirl peanut butter into dough with a knife.
  10. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
  11. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
