  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, and butter, then knead until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  2. Cook the Beef Filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add ground beef, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, then remove from heat and let it cool. Mix in the shredded cheese.
  3. Shape the Rolls: Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle, place a spoonful of beef filling in the center, and seal the dough around it.
  4. Bake the Rolls: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the stuffed rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
