Cajun seafood pot pie

Imagine a dish that brings Louisiana's flavors to your table. That's the magic of Cajun seafood pot pie. It combines fresh seafood, a rich creamy sauce, and zesty Cajun spices in a flaky golden crust.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb mixed seafood shrimp, crab, crawfish
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup seafood stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 package pie crust 2 crusts

  • 9-inch pie dish
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté vegetables in butter until soft.
  3. Add flour to create a roux, then slowly stir in stock and cream.
  4. Mix in seafood and Cajun seasoning, simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Line pie dish with one crust, pour in filling, cover with second crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
