Beef bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Sauce ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Rice cooker or medium saucepan

Method
 

  1. Heat skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Brown ground beef until fully cooked
  3. Add diced bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes
  4. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl
  5. Pour sauce over beef and vegetables
  6. Serve over warm rice
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions
