  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 lean
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp chef's knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Serving bowls

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add minced garlic, cook for 30 seconds
  3. Brown ground beef, breaking into small pieces
  4. Drain excess fat if needed
  5. Add soy sauce, stir to combine
  6. Serve hot over prepared rice
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
