bacon and velvety cream cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 6 bacon strips crispy and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Large mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Blanch green beans for 3-4 minutes
  3. Mix cream cheese, cream, garlic, salt, and pepper
  4. Combine sauce with green beans
  5. Transfer to baking dish
  6. Top with bacon and Parmesan
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden
