Air Fryer Avocado Fries Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • 3 shallow bowls or plates
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Tongs or fork
  • Paper towels

Method
 

  1. Prepare Avocados:
  2. Cut avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
  3. Slice each avocado into wedges.
  4. Set up Dipping Stations:
  5. Bowl 1: Place flour.
  6. Bowl 2: Whisk eggs.
  7. Bowl 3: Mix panko, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  8. Coat Avocado Wedges:
  9. Dredge each avocado slice in flour, dip in egg, and coat with panko mixture.
  10. Preheat Air Fryer:
  11. Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  12. Cook in Air Fryer:
  13. Lightly spray air fryer basket with olive oil.
  14. Arrange avocado slices in a single layer.
  15. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
